My oldest daughter is a natural born scientist. This became apparent when she was about a year and a half old, as it really does with all children. She observed everything. She touched, tasted, and even threw anything she could, just to see what would happen. She was on a quest for knowledge.
She seemed to be forming little opinions and testing them to see if the were valid. God created all of us to be like that-to search, to seek, to question, to test, to observe what we can in life. We continue on a lifelong search for knowledge that began as small children.
My daughter must have wondered what the pages of daddy's Bible were like. I sat my Bible on the bed one day and stepped away for a minute. She quickly toughed the Bible, felt the pages, and experimented to see what would happen if she yanked on them. Within a split second, I lost the first few chapters of Genesis. She had ripped them completely out of my Bible.
How many Christians today have ripped the first few chapters of Genesis completely out of their belief system? I mean how many think it's just a symbolic story that need not be taken literally?
At Creation To Revelation ministries, we believe those first few chapters of Genesis to be of immense value. We don't believe the Bible is complete without them. To experience the importance of Genesis, attend the Christian Creation Conference - Did Darwin Murder God?
